Hand - DeQuervain's Tendonitis

DeQuervain’s tendonitis is a painful condition usually caused from a new, repetitive activity that causes inflammation to the tendons at the base of the thumb. If non-surgical interventions are not effective, surgery may be recommended. The surgery involves making more room for the inflamed tendons.
