Hand - Median Nerve Wrap

Carpal tunnel syndrome is caused by pressure on the median nerve in the wrist. Surgery involves cutting the ligament and releasing it from the nerve. This works for most people, but some experience recurrent symptoms because of scarring. The median nerve wrap involves grafting a vein (or other wrapping materials) around the median nerve to protect it, decrease pain and prevent further scaring.
