Shoulder - Debridement of Clavicle Acromioplasty

The acromioclavicular (AC) joint is where the tip of the shoulder blade (acromion) meets the collarbone (clavicle). The surface of the acromion can become rough pressing against the shoulder joint causing pain. The acromion can be reshaped through an arthroscopic procedure. The clavicle is debrided to allow for more space and fluid movement of the joint.
