Shoulder - Platelet-Rich Plasma Insertion

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is used to promote healing. During surgery, PRP is inserted into the area prior to closing the incision to promote healing. It is used to speed healing with ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repairs, and Achilles tendon repairs just to name a few uses.
