Knee - ACL Reconstruction with Graft

The knee is a complex joint held together by four ligaments that hold the knee together, provide stability and allow for movement. One of the ligaments deep inside the knee joint is called the Anterior Cruciate ligament (ACL). When the ACL is torn, reconstruction is accomplished by arthroscopic surgery using a piece of tendon (often from the hamstring) as a graft.
