Botox Injections

Botox is injected in small doses to specific muscles as a cosmetic or medical treatment. The injections block nerve signals that cause the muscle to contract resulting in muscle paralysis. Botox is used medically to treat neck pain due to muscle spasms, lazy eye, eyelid twitching, finger, elbow and wrist muscle stiffness, excessive underarm sweating, and chronic migraine. Cosmetically, it is effective in relaxing facial muscles of the forehead, and sides of eyes making wrinkles in those areas less noticeable.
