Vertebroplasty

Vertebroplasty is a minimally invasive, image-guided therapy used to treat spinal compression fractures. Low viscosity cement is injected directly into the collapsed vertebra to stabilize the fracture and relieve the pain caused by spinal bones rubbing together. Vertebroplasty can increase patient mobility, decrease medication needs, and prevent further vertebral collapse.
