Blepharoplasty

Blepharoplasty is the surgical modification of the upper or lower eyelid. It can be done for both funtional and cosmetic reasons. Lower eyelid blepharoplasty is typically cosmetic and is used to improve puffy lower eyelids and wrinkles. Upper eyelid blepharoplasty is done when excess skin protrudes over the eyelashes and causes a loss of peripheral vision affecting activies such as reading or driving.
